The challenge
Pinnacle Data Centres won a contract for a hyperscaler customer that required a 10-rack cage standing up in 6 weeks from PO — cabinets, structured cabling, intelligent PDUs, the lot. The customer's architect had a strict cabling spec (pre-terminated MPO trunks, no field-spliced fibre, length-matched copper leads) and wanted DCIM-ready documentation on day one.
The solution
We pre-built the cabinet stack in our workshop: vertical cable managers fitted, brush-plate floor entries cut, intelligent PDUs racked and tested. On site we craned the prebuilt cabinets in over a single weekend, ran the MPO trunks under the raised floor in armoured conduit, and finished the per-rack copper out-of-band cabling Monday–Wednesday. Fluke certifications, OTDR traces, and labelled photos went into the customer's DCIM the morning of handover.
Outcomes

- Pre-terminated MPO eliminated splice variance — every link within 0.3 dB of spec
