CCTV Network Cabling

Overview

IP CCTV gives you 4K at the camera and remote-managed analytics — but only if the cabling supports the cameras' bandwidth and power needs over the run lengths your site demands. We design and install dedicated CCTV cabling that respects the camera spec sheet (PoE+, PoE++, mid-span injectors where needed), keeps the camera VLAN logically separated from your office network, and stays within EN 50173-5 distance limits.

Typical installs: a CAT6 PoE++ run to each external camera (with weatherproof IP67 boots at the camera end), aggregating into a central PoE switch in your comms room or a satellite fibre-to-camera pod for runs beyond 90 m. We integrate with leading VMS platforms (Genetec, Milestone, Hanwha Wisenet, Hikvision) and can work with your CCTV integrator on commissioning, or provide the integrator if you don't already have one.

For retail estates we deliver standardised, repeatable per-store designs so the same install pack rolls out across 50 sites with consistent labelling and cabinet build. For schools, councils, and police-monitored sites we ensure GDPR-aware cable routes (no inadvertent recording into private spaces) and signage compliance.
