The challenge
Redhill Retail Group's expansion programme was bottlenecked on cabling — different contractors per store meant inconsistent labelling, mixed cable specs, and a snag list that grew with each opening. Their estates team needed a single contractor who could roll out the same install pack, in the same form factor, every time.
The solution
We designed a per-store install kit: a standardised cabinet build (12U wall-mount with patch panel + PoE switch + UPS), the same colour-coded patch lead scheme across every store, identical labelling format, and the same as-built documentation template. Our project manager shadowed the first three stores, then handed the runbook to a regional lead. Stores 4–32 each completed in a 3-day window with one engineer.
Outcomes
