The challenge
Thompson & Associates' move from their old office to a new building 800 m away had to happen over a single weekend. Their phone system and case-management platform both lived on the existing fibre carrier handoff, and dropping either even briefly would have meant lost client work and missed court deadlines.
The solution
Two weeks before the move we installed and tested the new fibre uplink at the destination, including a parallel carrier handoff. On the Friday evening we cut over to the new fibre while staff were still working in the old office — the team carried laptops over Monday morning and connected to a network that was already up, tested, and identical to what they'd left behind.
