The challenge
Wharfside Medical Centre couldn't close for refit — a working week of lost appointments would cost more than the cabling. The practice needed CAT6 to every consulting room, a fibre uplink to the MDF, and zero disruption to live clinics. The existing CAT5e was 12 years old and dropping packets during teleconsultation calls.
The solution
We worked weekday evenings 6pm–10pm and full weekends, two engineers on site at a time. Each consulting room was cabled in a single evening session — clean, dressed, certified, ready for use the next morning. The fibre uplink was pulled overnight on a Saturday so Monday morning's surgery opened on the new infrastructure.
